00:00:01 Speaker 1: Welcome to Comeback Stories. I'm Darren Waller and my day job is tied in for the New York Giants, but my purpose is reaching as many people as possible through this podcast. Opening up is scary, but that's how I met my co host and friend, Donnie Starkins, who's an international yoga and meditation instructor as well as a mental health and mindset coach. We started this podcast to remind everyone listening wherever you are, that you have a comeback story within you. By giving you a glimpse into our daily lives, struggles in all and welcoming household names on as our guests, we hope every episode works to bankrupt that false story you're telling yourself that you're alone. You are not alone. We're in recovery, but we're not limited to recovery. The idea of responding to adversity and coming back is a way of life as opposed to one event. It's a process. You might be thinking these guys be addiction, they've got it all figured out, but we're just two people choosing to continue bettering ourselves. We love for you to join us. We love a good comeback story. Movies are made about them, and we see them on the biggest stages in sports every day, but we're dedicated to servicing real life comeback stories happening all around us. No comeback is too small to be inspiring. I mean, being human is like one never ending comeback story. Donnie. I know I speak for both of us when I say I get excited because these are conversations that people aren't having as much as they should, But these types of conversations changed our lives. We want to be vulnerable at the expense of comfort because the uncomfortable is where the real story begins, and you won't want to miss how this story unfolds. Listen to comeback Stories starting on August third on the iHeartRadio app, Apple podcast, or wherever you get your podcasts.
